How much do you guys think these lights are worth?

Someone is selling a 48" 6x65 (390 watt) PC light hood with:

3 50/50 lights, 2 Actinic 03 lights and 1 10,000K light.

Four of the bulbs are a month old, the other two are about 4 months old. There are no fans built-in, so I would have to put a couple in myself. The unit is about 6 months old, I don't know what brand it is yet. He says he's getting rid of it because because he upgraded to MH.

How much do you guys think this would be worth?

I personally, would ask $125 for it. You don't know what kind they are and you can get (top of the line)brand new coralife 4x65, with 2 cooling fans, and with 4 moonlights for about 250 bucks.

Wouldn't that be 260 watts?

Find out what brand they are first

I agree. $125-$150. Thats a big investment as far as annual bulb replacments also. Just using a standin cost of $20 a bulb thats a cost of $120/year just to replace the bulbs on the unit.

If you need that much light you might as well go MH. With two bulbs and a VHO actinic supplment would not only be cheaper in the long run with replacment bulbs it would also end up costing less in electricty probbaly.
