I am just curious how long other members tanks have been up and running. I almost had an "I quit" episode a few months back but I worked through it, and afterwards it got me thinking about the average life span of a reef tank and how long the majority of our tanks have been in operation. Myself, I am at 16 months.
*tearing down the same tank and starting over doesn't count =)

Thanks ahead for the input.

Mine is 3-4yrs. I have moved it but it's all the same, just different tank. It hasn't always been a reef though. I started out fowlr for the first 1.5yrs before adding corals.

Mine is a year old. I voted 2 -3 yr because I actually moved it from another persons house whom I bought it from. It was there a couple years. The tank it self goes quite a ways back, though I have no idea how far back the reef goes.
