I live in Florida and I never heard one bit of that story..

Wow. Its either red tide or someones dumping pollutants.

They seem to be washing up daily here. It is unfortunate.

I remember four years ago when we had hundreds of sharks wash up here in Panama City and the surrounding cities as well. I believe it was linked to Red Tide finally. Here is the link to that story: http://www.cnn.com/2000/NATURE/10/18/shark.deaths/index.html
