How to feed seaweed/algae sheets?

What's the best way to use these sheets of seaweed such as seaweed salad and the like? Just throw them in? Chop them up? Under a rock?

Thanks all!

Yep. Get a clip. You can also put it between a rock or even use a rubberband to attach it to a rock.
