hello all, Recently I us moving some live rock around and noticed two light colored round worms under my live rock. Each was about 1/4 to 1/2 inch in length. ANy ideas what they are? Are they harmful? The same day I found a worm like thing crawling along my glass. It was flat and almost looked like a very small snails stuck to the glass. Light tan in color and about 1/4 inch in length. I went ot get the camera and it was gone when i got back. What is this? Harmful? Thanks...lando

Most worms are harmless detrivores and sand bed dwellers. You most likely saw peanut worms or spaghetti worms.

Be careful if you've got your hand in your tank not to touch the worms. Bristle (or fire) worms will leave presents in your fingers for you and you won't like them. Fine for the tank, though.

Could also be a stomatella varia or a chiton.

Cheers
Steve
