I think that I may have an infestation of fireworms in my tank!

I have a Bi-color and it has gotten rid of all my worms. Be aware that my fish is a terror and controls my whole tank. Some people on this forum have stated that their Bi-color does not bother any fish in their tank. So I guess the only way is to try. You can always trade him in after he gets rid of your problem. IMO
 
they aren't fireworms. they are common bristle worms as mentioned. if you have big ones, you are over feeding. cut back on the feeding and you'll see less and less of them. meanwhile, i would keep them. you need something to eat the food you are adding. a 6 line wrasse won't eat those large worms. only tiny ones.
 
So the good picture posted wasn't a fireworm? The one I didn't post?
