Hi All;

Just a reminder, the IMAC discount ends today. If you register for a full registration, $125, you can bring a friend for FREE. They get to see the speakers and the exhibits, and all social events except the Banquet.

You can buy them a Banquet ticket and then they will get everything. But that promotion ends today. So, hurry over to www.theimac.org and sign up.

Thanks,
Dennis

IMAC

Hi binaryterror;

Here is some more info that may help you decide.
I hope you had a great Thanksgiving (those of you who celebrate this Holiday). Progress in preparing for IMAC 2006 is moving along well. Our Speakers list is nearly complete and so far we have:

Jake Adams
Eric Borneman
Anthony Calfo
Tullio Dell Aquilla
Dr. Sanjay Joshi
John Kelly
Allen LaPointe
Martin Moe
Mike Paletta
Steven Pro
Dr. Adelaide Rhodes
Dana Riddle
Zack Schwartz
Dr. Ron Shimek
Walt Smith and
Julian Sprung

The theme of the conference is “The Science Behind Our Hobby”.

You only have a few more days to take advantage of the special offer now going on for IMAC. If you register for $125 for a full registration by November 30, you can bring a friend for FREE and they can see the speakers and exhibits and attend all social events except the Banquet. If you buy them a Banquet ticket they get everything, which works out to just $90 each. See the details on the website www.theimac.org . With hotel rates of just $109/nite, IMAC is the least expensive weekend conference you can attend.

In addition to their regular presentations, Eric and Anthony will put on coral fragging demos in conjunction with FragExchange.com with the frags being given away. There will also be almost continuous fragging at the FRAGExchange.com booth with the frags also being given away.

We have expanded the Exhibit Hall for next year so it will hold about 70 booths. And, of course, we will have the Big IMAC Raffle. The Grand Prize has also been announced: a 9-day trip for two to Fiji provided by Walt Smith International. Other prizes will be announced soon including protein skimmers, MH lights, calcium reactors and at least 2 big complete tank set-ups.

We are also doing a “Behind-the-Scenes” Tour of Shedd Aquarium this year.

We have a new sponsor for IMAC 2006, Reef Aquarium Guide, which has set up a Forum for IMAC on their Board. I hope you will check it out at www.reefaquariumguide.com .

Cheers,

Dennis Gallagher, Chairman
International Marine Aquarium Conference
