Aquarium Advice FINatic
My tank as you probably know has been set up for a little over a week now, and is cycling.
The calcium in the water is coating every surface in my aquarium turning everything white, or not quite see-through. It's nearly impossible to get off with a pad, the only success I've had is using a razor blade
where my base lava rock was dark brown, it's now a light brown. My back glass was blue and now it's got this calcium coating on it making it very light color blue.
I imagine, that if in fact this coat is in deed calcium, once I get some coraline to start growing, it's going to take off. I'll get a pic when I get home.
