Is my LR ok?

He guys, I had my LR for about 5 weeks now and I did 4 water changes on it. One week I went on vacation and missed a water cleaning and when I came back saw that the powerhead was unplugged and there was like a sort of slimy film ontop of the water. I was away for a week. Is the LR ok? Did anything die? Will I have to wait longer now before I can put it in my tank. The guy who services my tank comes on Monday he said he will see it may take another 2-3 weeks, I hope not.

You are curing the LR, right? With one week of no circulation, the water it is in is most likely toxic. You could do some water big changes and see how things look/test.

Yea, I'm curing it. The water looks much clearer and not even a big smell. I don't have the testing supplies the service guy does.
