noticed this the other day now the pom pom seems to be moving back so may be they are correcting the issue themselves and thoughts?

Are u speaking of Pom Pom Xenia?? What kind of coral is touching them?? Generally they do move if they are threatened and seem to be resistant from most "stings" You may watch your other coral as they do tend to multiply and "smother" the others from light.

Your shots a good one because it acutally captures one of the sweepers from the coral on the left extending about 1/2 of the way to the xenia.
