Ive seen a few yellow watchman gobys and they are all a greyish color! Is it a young one of stressed out?

Not really sure about the color change. ine changed color after a water change about a year ago and never changed back to yellow.

Bummer =/ i like the bright yellow but affraid it will turn that greyish color

They also change as a result of age. Older ones = grey.

Thats an answer i was looking for!

That settles my nerves about them :)

Breeders have found they can. Females sometimes start off w/ some gray features that become more pronounced. Males usually bright yellow. Check out WWM or advancedaquarist for more details.
