Uh those get mixed reviews. Some have had no luck while others have been fine. I got one on a tank deal and it is working right now still on my prop tank. It is at least 2years old. Just think about getting better bulbs. If you can afford to get better, by all means do so.

ya, i would get better bulbs, cuz i've found better bulbs cheaper than i can get the oddysea ones in the store. and the light would be mostly for a green star polyp in my 55 if that makes any difference.
thanks

i have a 36" jebo that works good only thing i have had a problem with is the splash gard gets stuck(salt creep)

You will get the same response from me every time. "JUNK" As Rev said others have had luck with them though. I will send you the four I just got so I do not have to pay the garbage man to haul them off.

I will agree with the junk part. I got a 48" HQI/PC fixture around november. They ran for about 3 months before the fans stopped working, and about 2 weeks ago the ballast for the PC took a crap. After getting the run around from aquatraders, I decided to ordered the Current Outer Orbit jones. The light spectrum is so much nicer. I always hear you get what you paid for. Try looking into Current lights. Here is a couple links.

I think AquaReefer was referring to the bulbs not the fixture and i would have to agree the bulbs wer lacking in mine

I am referring to the bulbs and the fixtures. The bulbs are dimmer and the fixtures have a very short lifespan. They were put together sloppy. Hey there is a chance to get a good one out of the bunch. You only know if you try.
