This has green in it still







I've never had an ro system any advice would be helpful

The filters look good to me. The sediment filter is white when brand new but turns that orange color quick, after a couple weeks depending on how much you use it. Your best bet would be to test the water coming out of the unit to make sure it measures 0 TDS

+1, when your TDS is above 0ppm, change out the filter. I usually swap out the DI and the sediment filter and test again. I dont change carbon filters as often as the sediment and DI.

Yea I still need to buy a TDS meter. Probably get that next week. Any recommendations on a good salt mix

I paid $55 for the unit so I believe I got a decent deal on it. Considering the unit cost $170 brand new. Can I use the bulk reef supply brand cartridges for this system
