just got back from Fla

i just got home (ohio) from vacation and i got about 20 mangrove seed pods that washed up on shore. i want to put them into my fuge eventually. can i go ahead and throw them in? or do i need to quaretine them? can anyone tell me how to care for them also?

Just toss them in, they don't always make it but at least half should. BTW it is illegal to collect them just so you know.

I'd be careful of pollutants that may have been gathered on the surface..
