I had a single Aiptasia in my tank that was doing nothing except looking ugly and getting bigger everyday. Today, I prepared a gourmet meal for the Aiptasia's going away party. I mixed up some nice Kent Kalkwasser in a small dish of water, heated it in the microwave, and filled a measuring needle with the tasty paste... I then proceeded to give the Aiptasia a nice dinner of piping hot
Kalk mix. It retreated into its hole after eating the first squirt of
Kalk, while I then covered with a little glob of
Kalk paste:
I left it like this for 30 minutes with no powerheads on so the tank was calm. Then I siphoned out the
Kalk blob and turned the powerhead back on. I do not expect to see that Aiptasia around again
