Kalk Question

I need to mix a bucket of kalk but the only RO water I have right now has a little bit of salt in it already. I already know that you are not supposed to use saltwater for top off water but I need to icrease my salinity anyways so this kills 2 birds with one stone. My question is can I mix kalk in this low salinity saltwater? Any help would be great.

Do not mix your kalk with SW, FW only!!!! Do not add the SW to mixed kalk.

Chemical reactions between the SW and the KALK, I would imagine. I'm not entirely sure of the chemisry behind it, but know that it's a bad idea.
