I've had my 90 gallon reef up and running for about two years now. My only problems are, and have been, fighting nitrates and green algae. Would it be possiblet to convert my wet/dry to a sump, since most posters here don't really seem to like the idea of the wet/dry. And how long should I take to make this transition. Thanks.

Agree with the good rev. I just pulled the last of my bioball. Now I'm looking into a partition to create the refugium.

But this has to be done slowly right? I can't just take out all the bio-balls in one day unless I'm mistaken.

Yes, I took about 1/5th of them out every week. Monitor your water chems as you go. Good point!!
