I noticed Kent Marine's Tech CB solution has copper in it. First of all, why the heck would they do this? Second of all, has anybody used this, or does anyone currently use it, and if so what has been your experience? Thanks for the help.

yes, in nsw there is small amounts of copper in it. the tech cb is great for small reef tanks. i used it for some time but i was going throught 1 bottle about every month (16 oz) i used it to get my CA to 450 then switched over to liquid ca, then over to a ca reactor.

I've heard that the copper isn't removed from the tank by any biological processes, and that no animals use it. Therefore, it collects, and if added for a long time period, can build up and actually crash the whole system. Is there any truth to this, or am I just being overly careful?
