leather coral

Hello,

I have a leather coral that lost a pirce off of it. It came damaged from the LFS. What I'm wondering is can this piece live and grow?
Its feeders come out everyday just like the bigger one.

Also my flame is growing like crazy and is starting to touch the leather.
Are they toxic? The place where its touching the leather is turning gray.

I'm going to relocate it tomorrow when the light are out.

Thanks,

Mike ...

Definitely need to move the Leather or the Flame (Torch Coral). The Torch is very strong and will kill anything it comes in contact with!

And with a little TLC I'm sure your leather will be just fine!

Yo J.

Yea, tomorrow morning I'm going to swap it with the bubble.

Think I should just put that little frag on a rock and see what happens?

Pierce the little leather piece with a toothpick and the use a rubberband on the toothpick to hold the base of the leather to a rock. After a few weeks, make sure the leather is attached and remove the toothpick and rubberband.

This is how I do my leather frags.

It looks like you got 2 leather corals. You can definitely save the frag. Good luck.
