Leathers

i recently purchased a very nice looking finger leather and was wondering if i placed it in the right part of my tank. it is about 6 inches from my 250 watt halaide and receives plaenty of of circulation from a maxijet 1200 which is aimed to reflect off of the back glass.

As long as he is opening up good then he is probably happy.

Agreed, if it is opening well, then there is no problem. If the coral doesn't open, then you may consider moving after a couple of days.

A leather coral should look real "fuzzy" most all of the time excpet when it's shedding (a 2 or 3 day event). If it is not fully inflated where it is, move it and see if there's a change after a day.
