Leaving my lights off for a couple days

I'm going out of town for 2 days and I have a little hair algae problem as well as a little cyano. Would it be bad to leave my lights off for those 2 days? I have a mushrooms, zoas, palys, clove polyps, frogspawn and a birdsnest.

a few days is fine, your corals wont be negatively effected for the most part. maybe a tiny bit but 2 days isn't really a lot of time to leave them off. the cyano thread talks about leaving it pitch black in the room for 3-4 days so you should be fine.

I would agree that 2 days you`ll be fine. It might even put a dent in that algea problem.
