lettuce nudibranch

I have these few patches of this brittle strand algae (not hair) growing and I read here on AA that I should get a lettuce nudibranch, so I did. When I introduced it to the tank I put it directly on top of of one of these patches and he ate the whole thing in one day, never left the spot until it was all gone. Now that the on patch is gone, he just roams the tank and has not eaten any more. How much do these things eat? Did he get that full? It's been about three days and I don't see anymore algae disappearing. There's only about three patches left, so it's not a huge problem, yet.

Have you placed it on the other strands? Lettuce nudis prefer hair algae to a tough turf algae....
