lighting

i want add a new lighting system this summer to my tank and had a question. i currently have a single 250 watt MH with a 24 inch reflector so the light dispurses over the whole tank which is a 65 tall. my question is this: i am planning on adding another 250 MH. if i use two different bulbs on each side of the tank will it show up with two differnt color areas or will the color blend.

Given the little I know about light refraction...the colors should blend mostly. Though you may have parts near the farthest reaches of the light where the shading/shadowing may show differently.

Peace,

I think it would probably be a cool looking effect.

In that small a surface area, it is doubtful you could tell there were two different color bulbs on that tank if you used a 65K Iwasaki and a 20K Radium
