lights and time

Hello, I just received my "Orbit light fixture", it says on the box they are a 24 hr. light system. Is this because it has 4 moonlight bulbs right? Do I still turn off the actinics after 10-12 hrs of light?
Sorry about all the questions but this thing came with set up instructions only. TIA

I give it my best. the moonlights run 24/7 and still run the light 10 to 12 hours

Thats right. Moonlights will run 24/7 and most run the main lights 10-12hours.

I run my moonlights 24/7. Actinics come in at 11am and shut off at 11pm. 10,000K come on at noon and shut off at 10pm.

No reason to do that really. They burn almost no power and don't negatively affect anything. They can easily be left on 24/7 without concern.

Lando, I have the exact same light schedule as you do. Works well for me.

The moonlights (LED's) will run for years without being turned off, and they use very little electricity. If that is still a concern, you can put them on timers too
