Ok, I am still trying to figure out what is eating my soft coral poylps and xenia. I know I have a crab, but I found an article on limpets that said they will eat soft coral. I got to looking and I have a ton of the things that look like limpets. They look like snails without a shell, and they are very tough. Do you think these are limpets??

IMO, the bottom picture looks more like limpets than the top. I have many limpets as well, that eat a heck of a lot of algae. I can't say for sure, but I would say yes, they are limpets.

They don't look like limpets to me revhtree. The top one looks like a Stomatella and the second pic looks like a coralline coated chiton. I don't think they are your culprits.

Thanks for the comments you two.

I looked up Stomatella, and chiton, and I def. think that is what they are.

Well, thats good news to me! :D
