Lion fish

Hi all,

Has any one got any advice on lion fish. I'm looking at the dwarf fuzzy lion fish?

Thanks

Andi

Dwarfs are a little more tricky to wean on frozen foods. I had 2 and 1 starved himself to death but the other only eats frozen foods now. They are also more timid compared to volitans

Agreed.

Through all of my research on them the past month everything says to buy them on frozen or flakes or QT them until they have been trained to eat prepared foods.

Thanks guys,

I have witnessed the dwarf in question eating frozen.

Are they ok in a community tank? As they are small all my other fish are quite large so I'm assuming they won't get eaten.

Something like chromis or clowns would be at risk if you have any but if you feel all you fish are big enough then have at it
