Macroalgae
I wanted to know if anyone knew what kind of macroalgae this is. Also, what is the anemone looking thing on it. Apastasia?

That is an aipstasia and you need to get rid of it. Is the color of that algae blue/purple or is that just from the lights?

The algae is purple. My lfs sold it to me, but I don't recall them telling me the name.

do a google search of hypnea pannosa.. Looks like that might be it? Pretty cool looking.. Like the acropora of macro algae lol
