Mandarin hybrids

I've always wondered if you could pair a target mandarin with a blue mandarin and have successful spawns because a few years back I had a target mandarin that paired with a fingered dragonet but couldn't keep up with them and sold them to my local fish store. I now have a target pair if you would like to see them check out my YouTube channel but yea I was just curious like if you can cross breed clowns why not mandarins

Ideally, cross breeding two species is not a good idea. Also mandarins are very hard to breed. They're such beautiful fish they shouldn't be messed with.

It should be possible, as long as they're related.

I wonder if the hybrids would even be attractive? The paisley of the blue with the spots of the target might just make a mess instead of a pattern, but I guess no one will know until it happens.

Some of the clownfish hybrids don't seem like there gonna be that pretty but I mean wow
