I'm sure it's not new. Any reason I couldn't drop the spotted mandarin in the refugium for a few days? It's crawling with pods in there, but I rarely see them in the DT. My mandarin is getting really skinny. He was one I didn't research a lot before buying and in hindsight never would have tried, but I'd like to give him a chance.

Thoughts?

you don't see pods in your DT because the mandarin is clearing them out more rapidly than they're reproducing. Yes, you can put him in the fuge, but it won't take long for him to clear that out as well.

Unfortunately, unless you can train him to eat prepared foods, you're going to need to continually purchase pods to keep him alive.

Buying pods might be a good idea. The short term answer might be to put in the fuge but as I said you might have to buy pods.
