I was feeding my fish today when out of no place what looks like to be a 2 inch lime green mantis shrimp.. He moved pretty fast so I could not look at the claws. Is it time to worry?? TIA

Yes, I caught one after he killed my sleeper head golby and a lot of my snails and crabs started turing up dead or mangled. Some here told me they usually only kill fish OR invertabrae but mine liked to dable in both. They are predators!

If you are sure it is a mantis you can worry a bit. Have you heard any pops or clicking from the tank?

Yes!!! It sounds like this... Pop...Pop...Pop... I have been hearing this for a very long time but have not lost any fish yet.
