Anyone heard of or have a marine beta fish
Saw one the other day thought it was cool looking ,just trying to find out more about the fish like does it play well with others, is it a hardy fish ,do they do well in captivity

the best thing you could buy is the book MARINE FISH by scott micheal
they will eat what they can fit into their mouths

lol the lfs i work at keeps one in a reef tank. you really dont see it al all. like to hang out in the dark cave and dose not show his face at all. kind of cool looking but i guess he only shows up at night so it would not be my fish to spend $$$ on. i am a sleep at night when the lights are off.

I have a marine betta, it is in my reef tank. They are fairly reclusive. It does not bother any other fish at all. They are very hardy.

Do you think it would eat a smaller fish like a tamato clown

I would not think so. Mine was in with a very young clarkii clown for a long time. But remember that every fish has a personality of its own.
