Maroon clown diet?

So I got a white banded maroon clown and he loves pellets but I bought some frozen mysis shrimp and he won't touch them. Is it ok to just feed him pellets? Im using new life.

Mine was fed strictly pellets for 5 years. She's now around 5 inches and healthy as can be. I have started feeding her brine shrimp along with pellets since I've had her though.

All my fish get frozen brine and frozen mysis on alternating days, ill feed flake or pellet only once in a while.

Any idea on what to do to get him to eat it?

Get garlic rx and put a few drops right on the frozen food, he will eat that for sure.. Garlic is an appitite stimulant

I will try that. I watched him closely yesterday and came to realize he's not actually eating the pellets either! He goes crazy after a few but spits some of it back out. I don't get it.

I have a gold stripe maroon and he eats pellets, flakes, frozen vitamin fortified brine frozen mysis shrimp.
