Mating Peppermint Shrimp

There have been several times that I have noticed a pregnant pepermint shrimp, what can I do to insure full development of the shrimp? To my understanding I will need rotifers, but wasnt quite sure how easy or space consuming that would end up being.

Need to be in species only tank for any success.

Thats what I was guessing, would I need a sand bed in the new tank, and could it be in line with the sump/fuge for my main tank... somehow?
