Melanarus and Leopard wrasse compatibility

I recently got a brand new leopard wrasses which occasionally comes out but once seen by the melanarus is constantly chased till he goes back in the sand. Should I remove the melanarus or is there something that I can do first?

I had the same issue. Had to move the leopard to a different tank. I'd remove the melanurus if you want the leopard to live
