miami hurricane chalice care

for some reason, i'm having the most difficulty with MH chalice. i place the frag under a piece of LR so that it doesn't get much light in a low flow area, but in the end it still looks bleached and dying. is there something that i'm missing? the other sps and lps are doing well. they're budding every other week but the chalice is baffling me.

advice needed please.
