might be a silly question, but

does anyone know how much a 55 gal tank with water would weigh? or even a gal (i can do the math, hehe)

i think its about 10lbs per gal

no, im just wondering if the stand that i have can hold the weight. the floor is cement, so i suppose it can handle just about anything. i know it can hold upwards of 450, so i was just rying to figure out how much the stand would hold with the tank filled with water would be. if it is 10 lbs per gal im good, thank you!!

I've read but can't find the exact source that saltwater weights 8.3 lbs per gallon. BTW ............... the only silly question is the one that doesn't get ask.
