Missed daylight

Out of town over night. Missed a daylight cycle. Came home about 8pm and turned the lights on. Still on right now. Should I leave them on for a while and go back to normal cycle or shut them down now?

I would say chalk it up to one really cloudy day and turn the lights back on at their normal time tomorrow.

Buy a timer, so much easier.

+1 on the timer so much easier rather than right before im about to go to bed forgetting i forgot to turn the light off then i have to get my lazy butt up and turn them off

One day without lights isn't going to kill the corals. They'll be fine.

What he said. I know people that sell and grow coral, and they leave lights off all the time. But a timer is a must.
