So, I've setup my QT with tank water and a sponge that's been in the sump for a few weeks. I'm using a sponge filter and air pump with a powerhead.
Since there's bacteria in the sponge that will transfer to the new sponge, what's the process from here? Do I need to add some ammonia to see if it's cycled?
