Mushroom coral help

I had a friend who gave me one mushroom coral and i was wondering will they grow all over the rock or do you have to frag it if thats possible not sure if you can frag a mushroom coral or is it a type of coral where u have to buy 5 to have 5 in the tank??

They will grow more and more no fragging required! Might take a whole but they will!

Kewl and my friend put it on top my rock work do the need direct light like that

Yeah they don't need as much light as other corals though!

Ya mushrooms will split themselves and when they get going they can really get going. I'd suggest not putting them on your main rock work because they can become anoying when they start mulitplying and taking up all your space. Keep them on a smaller seperate rock adn they'll fill that and look great...
