My Astrea has grass!

This is hardly earth-shaking, but I do wonder about it. One of my Astrea snails has two little green things growing on (I assume not out of) his shell--they look exactly like two little antennae made of grass. They are about halfway up his shell. I assume it's some kind of algae, and frankly it's kind of cute. But does anyone know what it is? A search on "snail" plus "hair" or "grass" netted me nothing. :?

LOL, I have had green algae grow on a couple of mine too. My Coral Beauty made quick work of it though. She picked it all off.

I got one too. Looks like a snail too close to the TV and all his "hair" is standing up.
