nano skimmer

Has anyone used the Fission Nano Skimmer? Will it fit in the rear filter compartment of a JBJ Nano Cube, or just in the front corner of the tank like all the retail pictures display?

check out www.nano-reef.com ... some members over there have modified the skimmer to fit in the rear chambers, but from what I hear the skimmer is not getting very good reviews!
