NEED HELP ASAP

mY DAUGHTER JUST CALLED ME, MY PUFFER BIT MY THERMOMETER IN HALF, SHE RIED TO GET IT OUT QUICK BUT IM SURE IT LEAKED INTO THE WATER, MINE IS RED IN COLOR, SOMEONE TOLD ME THEN ITS ALCOHOL NOT MERCURY NOT TO BE ALARMED , IN A 125 TANK THAT SHOULD NOT HURN ANYONE IS THIS TRUE AND IS ALCHOL ONES RED IN COLOR????

It's not alcohol AFAIK but rather organic dyes. They are by no means good in any quantity but given your tank size and the thermometer size, you shouldn't be too concerned.

I would definately suggest a good water change when you get home and run some carbon (or change for fresh).
