NEED Help with a UV Sterilizer

I have a Custom Sealife UV Sterilizer. I've had it for about 8 months from what I can remember. My Coral Beauty (Sacha) has developed glass eye and my Blue Hippo Tang (AZ) is constantly seeking the affections of my Cleaner Shrimp (JAcques). Is it simply time to replace the bulb? Can the unit be cleaned? What do you guys think?

Blubs should last about a year but it might be time to verify the bulb is acutally working and not blown out or something. ALso if you take th eunit apart you should be able to clean the tubing. As you get buildup on the inside or even the outside of teh tubing the light will be less effective.
