My tank is about 4 months old and the diatomic algae is dying off. Now some green algae is taking it's place though, only on the glass. I was wondering if this is normal, Thanks!

Sounds pretty niormal, if it is green micro algae. We never completely rid ourselves of algae, but can do things to lessen it and add critters to eat it.
