New filter advice needed!

HI everyone, i was looking on upgrading my 16 gallon tank filter to a wet and dry filter and i was hoping someone would give me some suggestions on which one would be best. i only have 3 fish and a couple of hermit crabs. would appreciate it if i got some suggestions. thanks

I don't think it's necessary to have a wet/dry with that size tank. A really good filter like an aquaclear should do the trick. And faithful water changes.

wet/dry filter can become a pain if you don't clean it a lot. it will create nitrates

If you added anything I would go with something like a refugium, not a wet/dry.
