New sand bed question

So I have put a lot of money into tank lately and I am debating on replacing my sand bed due to nitrate issues in tank. It is a crush coral mixture. I also want to try to trade in my live rock so I can build a nicer aquascape. Do you guys see any issues or ideas. I want my reef to be as perfect as possible.

Live sand with crushed coral, but came with the tank when I purchased it
