New skimmer

I just got a new reef octopus regal 220sss for my 150g reef tank. I was wondering if anyone else has this skimmer and what their experience has been with it? I just got it turned on and I am running it at its highest setting. At its highest setting it is kinda loud and vibrates but sure does make a lot of bubbles. I'm planning to scale it back to about half speed tomorrow since it is a bit oversized for my tank.

i haven't used that particular model, but if it's loud and vibrating, open up the pump and inspect the impeller. make sure it's seated properly. If it's set up right, try to put something spongy under it, like a mouse pad or something to absorb some of the vibration.
