can't seem to get them any lower. what is the best method? i have been doing weekly water changes at 20%. should i do them more often. i am using a whisper 60 on a 35 gallon tank. are there any additives that will take down nitrates?

thanks

What is your stock? This level is no problem for fish, but 15 and up is borderline for invert.
Water changes, aggressive skimmer, keep from overfeeding, drain the packaging juice from frozen food, siphon up debris and uneaten foods...
These all help with nitrate control.
do you incorporate bioballs or a biowheel? These kind ofs media are hotbeds for nitrates.
