No babies?

So my Peppermint shrimp no longer has eggs on her abdomen...but there are no babies....i'm guessing they were eaten?

Also, i've had a lot of what look like clam or oyster shells falling off my live rock....anyone know wxactly what they are?

thanks!

Matt
