OK to turn off pumps for 30 mins?

I have 4 maxijet 900, which i modified with the Maxi Mod. I have all of them on a timer which turns them on and off 3 times a day to get the benefit of the mod. Problem is I have to set the time they turn off 30 mins before they turn on again. That means during the day, there will be 1.5 hours that all pumps will be shut off. Would this cause any problem?

Why not use staggered start/stop schedule? That way, you could have some "random" water movement, which would prevent the "no movement" scenario you are presented with.

It should not create too much of a problem. Might be a good time to feed the tank with the pumps off.
